The Consumer Communications and Networking Conference (CCNC) is one of ComSoc's core conferences. It is organized with the objective of bringing together researchers, developers, and practitioners from academia and industry working in all areas of consumer communications and networking. CCNC presents the latest developments and technical solutions in the areas of home networking, consumer networking, enabling technologies (such as middleware), and novel applications and services. The conference includes a peer-reviewed program of technical sessions, special sessions, business application sessions, tutorials, and demonstration sessions.
The founding technical committee of CCNC was the Multimedia Technical Committee (MMTC). The first conference was held in 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The conference website is www.ieee-ccnc.org
This community is for CCNC steering committee members, the leadership team of yearly CCNC Organizing Committees, and ComSoc staff concerned with CCNC. This community site's purpose is to contain documents (such as the CCNC Steering Committee Charter) and discussions related to running the annual CCNC conference.
